The Dark Knight prowls the streets of Gotham City, looking for criminals perpetrating dastardly deeds. Here, he crouches on a parapet, ready to spring on an unsuspecting thug below. Until he pounces, however, he makes a great stocking hanger! And hes heavy enough to offset whatever Santa crams into the stocking Batman supports.
Hermetically sealed in a mayonnaise jar for 20 years this ornament just revealed itself while we were making room for the new Lemax merchandise. This ornament came from Kurt S. Adler, renowned for its high-quality holiday ornaments. In the early 2000s we also carried Adlers ornaments. This particular specimen arrived at our warehouse factory-fresh in 2004 or 2005.
